Product Description

White Loft Trap Hinged Door and Frame Timloc 1169 562 x 662mm Easy to install hinged drop-down loft access door. Fully draught sealed & independently air leakage tested by BRE. Required Joist Opening: 562 x 662mm. Overall Dimensions: 670 x 770mm. ​Insulation is CFC free expanded polystyrene foam. Part L compliant to a rating of 0.35Wm²k. Insulated area on the back of the door is fully maximised. Please note: Listing is for loft hatch only, the loft ladder is NOT included. Other loft hatches available in our shop. Technical Considerations Timloc loft access doors comply with the most recent Building Regulations; ‘THE BUILDING REGULATIONS ‘Conservation of fuel and power’ APPROVED DOCUMENT L1A & L2A (2013 Edition). Timloc loft access doors comply with the most recent Building Regulations; ‘THE BUILDING REGULATIONS 2000 ‘Conservation of fuel and power’ APPROVED DOCUMENT L1A & L2A (2006 Edition). The Timloc loft access door has demonstrated a zero 0.00m3/(h.m2) air leakage at ‘positive’ 50Pa to exceed requirements set in the Building Regulation Part L1A & L2A while fully complying with BS5250:2011 the Code of Practice for control of condensation in buildings. Timloc loft access doors contain polystyrene insulation with a Thermal Conductivity of 0.038W/mK. For this reason, a correction U value of 0.004W/m2k should be calculated to the proposed U value figures for a ceiling (U value for a ceiling not to exceed 0.16W/m2k). With reference to insulation, the products in this range do not use, contain or produce Urea Formaldehyde, CFCs or indeed any of the so-called soft CFCs, i.e.. HCFCs & HFAs. They have an ozone depletion potential of zero and Global Warming Potential of less than 5.
